Read the article. Rinaldi can be faulted for breaking the rules set for the open marriage. If she wanted to f'ck around and meet someone new and disrespect her DH, she should have divorced.

I pray to God that you fought her on custody and won. This is one of the rare cases where the man should be awarded primary custody.

I was told that I needed to prove injury or danger to our child, which I wasn't able to do. Everyone continues to think she's mother of the year. I want to shout the contrary from the rooftops, but all I keep thinking is what it would do to our child. That's still "mommy" and every child has a right to believe in their parents as long as they can until they mature out of it.

Not currently. I'm a tad out of practice. I was married throughout my entire 20s. I went on a handful of dates last year, but they were with people I was somewhat familiar with: former coworkers and friends of friends. I think I'm still too guarded, so I decided to give it more time.

My ex-wife thought that she could maintain an extreme sex life without it impacting the rest of her life. She was really naive and got taken advantage of by a lot of guys. One in particular bled her dry. She caught a few things (all curable to my knowledge), and she got pregnant a few times. I only know all of this because I started snooping when she constantly kept asking to borrow money and appeared to be in dire straits. I thought she was on drugs and was planning to use the info to get sole custody. None of what I found was incriminating enough for sole custody, but it was very depressing to see someone I loved so much fall so far.

When I was a teenager, all I thought about - and did - was having sex. And eventually it got old. In my twenties and early thirties, all I thought about - and tried - was getting into a long-term, stable relationship. But it never happened, for long. For the next decade, all I thought about was developing my career and having sex. The career worked out, but the sex got old after a while. Then, out of the blue, I met an older man who loved me and I loved back, accepted the strain my career goals imposed upon him, wouldn't allow his career to interfere with mine and loved sex. I think you just have to keep trying to find the right person and the more you try, the more likely a good accident is to happen, no matter what other people think about the path you took to get there.

I am so cynical anymore that part of me thinks she did all of this just to be able to write a shocking book that would grab the headlines and get attention.

I have never even been, but I have heard enough to be turned off. That street fair where people are walking around in bondage gear, having sex, masturbating, etc all right on the street. Cuddle parties. Who knows what all else. Even Bay to Breakers where naked people are everywhere. I am not a prude, but I just cannot imagine having family and young kids around all of this. This all just seems to be a tad bit immature. Everyone taking such a strong hold of their sexuality that anything goes anywhere.
