Bringing your boyfriend to brunch. With your girlfriends. Well, you may as well cut off his balls.

This is about the last thing he probably wants to do. The fact that he might have even "maybe" done it means he's serious about you.

Let him off the hook. His story may or may not to entirely true. Also he probably had to "get-up" for this, which wasn't easy. Wanted to present himself well. Sounds like a busy weekend for him.

I'd not bring up the subject. Go over and be with him enjoying the new place.

In case this isn't a troll ...

You should know that when his parents are over helping him move, they're going to ask him what you're up to that day (which is a nice way of asking why you aren't helping). He'll say you're at brunch. He might even say that you're helping the next day and blah blah blah. Doesn't matter. You will have lost lots of points with the parents. You should cancel your brunch and be there to help your BF.
