I would put Bobs at the bottom. Value City, Ashley, and Ikea are better quality. Then Marlows. Havertys actually has been great we have bought several things from them and I am shocked at how well they have held up. We also like Macys. So we are not buying super expensive furniture.
Bobs did replace a sofa for us with a new one when the seams started to go.
When looking at furniture I will look at the construction (wood, mdf, etc), seams, and density of cushions - they give over time. You can find decent pieces in most places. Ikea has really good solid wood pieces that will last forever.

We need to replace our dining room furniture (IKEA that's held up for 10+ years) -- need 2 tall cabinets, 2 short, a buffet, table, and 4 chairs. I like what I see at IKEA except that the sizes are either too small or too big for our odd dining room. I see stuff at Bob's that could work. It's more expensive than IKEA. Is it better quality? Worse? We have 2 young kids and 2 cats. I want pieces that are safe and sturdy but we will likely replace them in 10 years or when we buy a better house, whichever comes first.
Bobs is Ikea furniture that has already been put together

How about to belfort or havertys.
