It's not misogyny to be glad to have all boys.

I'm grateful every morning that hair brushing takes approx 10 seconds and that I never have to sit and braid/curl/ponytail anyone's hair.

I appreciate that on cold days like today, I don't have to have to talk anyone out of wearing a dress.

I am super thankful that I don't have to deal with kiddie tights. Ever.

Love my boys. I'm sure if I had girls I'd love them just as much. But I'm not sorry to be happy to have sons and I'm proud that I get to raise them to be kind, thoughtful men -- the world needs more of those.

Same here. DH is the youngest of 3 sons. She cried when he told her he was in love with me. I wish we had a close relationship like I knows others have with their MILs.

that's because your MILs are crazy. I know tons of families where the adult sons are very close with their mothers. Then again those mothers aren't assholes and often have great relationships with their DILs are well.

My son loves Frozen. Lots of boys do. Girls can be good at sports too. Some boys don't play sports at all.

Ha! Then you would have been totally bummed it you had gotten my boys. They hate sports. They hate Frozen too though.

I honestly thought every parent wants boys.

I can never decide if I feel sorry for myself or not. My MIL only had boys and desperately wanted her DILs to behave like daughters to her, which we do not. I do wonder whether I will end up feeling lonely as the only female in my family and whether my boys will find me tedious. But my father had only girls and ended up being the superstar in my family -- everyone liked him the best. In the end, not really worth worrying about, is it?
