Cook all day in a crockpot. Absolutely delicious.
Can serve alone or with rolls.

She did.
Nope: "Of course I never give out the recipe because now it's my secret dish."
Umm.. OP here.
Maybe you got confused on the comprehension, because my secret recipe is carrots with herbs? Then again, it is a non recipe so it's easy to miss.
My definition of recipe just differs from yours, I guess. To me a recipe includes quantities and specific ingredients. You offered a description of your dish, not a recipe. That's your right, obviously, but they aren't the same thing.
Hence the title of the post?
I suppose it's also your right to be cranky and difficult on a lighthearted thread. It's also my right to say have a wonderful evening, even if you're not really interested in participating in this thread other than pointing out semanticsI, for one, have already gotten some great ideas.
NP here and you are the one being difficult. And rude.

I usually make it for kid centered events but adults are usually the ones who eat most of it.
This sounds really good!

Slice and bake chocolate chip cookies, made slightly larger than I'd normally do. Cool. Scoop chocolate chip ice cream in between two cookies. Wrap in waxed paper. Freeze. I've made these for neighborhood parties and these are always a huge hit. If you are really pressed for time, buy bakery (soft) chocolate chip cookies. If you have extra time, roll finished sandwich through a bowl of sprinkles before wrapping.[/quo
Buttery cookies - which brand, please share.
Pillsbury slice and bake dough!
Or, if you have the time, Betty Crocker choc chip cookie mix (make it with oil, not butter)

I used to use apple cider vinegar, but lately like it with rice wine vinegar, sometimes I use lime juice instead. Sprinkle either pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds and get on top and you're done. I guess it's similar to the OP's salad in that everyone is surprised at how good such a simple salad can be and no one thinks of making a salad entirely of purple cabbage. If you want, you can add sliced oranges too or red onion, or whatever herbs you might have on hand.
OP here.. And obviously a fan of the single ingredient salad. I've never thought of doing this with red cabbage, but DH loves the stuff. I think this will be on rotation this weekthanks for the idea!
