We were away when this happened and they had the fence hauled away. We re-installed the fence with not a penny from them and about three months later they "accidentally" put a tiki torch to close to the fence, we think in an effort to burn it down. Because the fence was of pressure treated wood, it did not burn but did get large black scorch marks on "their" side of the fence. They have begged us to allow them to pay to replace that part of the fence or to paint it. We have said no, and they finally built a new section of fence along ours to block their burning efforts.

What is it about fences? My passive-aggressive neighbors have piled up dirt and compost against the bottom of our fence and it has now started to have boards fall out because of the moisture. Such jack*ss*s.

There was a vacant bot behind our building so we decided to start parking in it rather than fight for parking on street. Our crazy neighbor started writing homemade parking tickets "from" the building name. When our friends came by they parked there too for their own mementos. We had a stack of about 20 by the time we left. They were frequently written on junk mail, shopping lists or other used pieces of paper. One day he printed some on the computer. That was fun.
Should have paid them with hand drawn checks and left them on his front door.
