+1000 And lack of decent green space. Loomis Park is a block away but also depressing for want of (living) trees and litter.

Makes sense. We stayed with a school even during the move insecurities. Very important for a school to have 'all of its ducks' in a row.

If location is important to you, such that a long commute or a commute to a different part of the city would be a deal breaker, do not accept a seat at a school you know is relocating in a year if your desire is to stay at the school long term. We did this, the proposed location (same area, less than a mile from current location, etc.) fell through and the place the school ended up would have been totally untenable for us, commute-wise. Lee will not announce until they have all their ducks in a row, and by that point it may be too late for you to use new location in your decision making process.

They've had their charter revoked. Building is available for sale or lease. Meets Ward criteria . If they've been 'promised' a property that seems like it would be more of a Niles/Henderson/Lee project.

Any more clues on where Lee Montessori is moving in 2016? We're getting pretty close on the waitlist, and I'd love to know more before we decide whether to take a spot if called off the waitlist.

LAMB hopes to have some space at Walter Reed in 2016 but that could be delayed again (city hasn't even gotten the space from DOD yet). For next fall LAMB has told parents they are taking over some additional space within the Perry Street Building.
