Hand foot and mouth? I got it when my kids did and it was the worst throat I have ever ever ever had.

Maybe you need a different antibiotic? You can call into your nurse's line.

There is a virus going around kind of like this. My whole family had it. All of us were strep negative, low grade fever, terrible sore throat, swollen glands. Took about 5 days to run its course. You might have the same thing if your strep culture comes back negative.

Yes, thanks for asking. There was noticeable improvement after the first 24 hours of the new medication. I can eat again!
