+1. Our DS's 4th grade home room teacher was fantastic in working with us and him.

Love WES. LOVE it - so glad we found it and enrolled.

But I do think it's a school more suited to girls and boys with very high executive function and self control. We happen to have one of those kinds of boys. He's had an amazing education in a warm, caring community of teachers, parents, and kids.

Could be. Just trying to be helpful. Commonwealth Academy has kids as far north as Gaithersburg and as far west as Leesburg and as far south as Mt. Vernon. There's a map with pushpins directly across from reception to help parents organize carpool.
