Been to quite a few, this list doesn't include the many states I'd like to return to!

I feel this way, too. But I won't be that sad if I die without seeing MS, MO, and KS.

This is very true. NY is very diverse and incredible. Also 1000 islands, which I still have not made it to even though I lived pretty close for a while.

The Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood areas (along with the waterfalls like Multnomah Falls and the other less visited ones nearby) are really, really gorgeous and close to Portland. Just in case you make it there!

Crater Lake
Oregon Coast
Voyageurs Natl Park
Badlands Natl Park

?

I guess PP doesn't care about the great outdoors.

LOL, we were only there a few days and felt like we "saw" enough of Portland. It's a cool city, for sure, but I got a little tired of the homeless hipster types everywhere!

Is nobody saying AZ because people have already been there, or because they just think of Phoenix and the Grand Canyon?

My list of states to visit that I haven't already would be:

PR (not a state, but really want to go)
WY
MI
FL (love me some Carl Hiaasen novels)
LA

There is good skiing in central PA. There is awesome whitewater on the Lehiigh river near Jim thorp. There is a pretty interesting town, centralia, in central pa, it has been burning for 30 years. Every state park I've been to in Pa is gorgeous. And there is the Grand Canyon of PA.

I'm 10:15. Maybe I'm having images of Alleghenies, Civil War battlefields, or other outdoors-types of experiences. Maybe not, though!

Of course there are many wonderful experiences to be had there, I just don't think it's worthy of a short bucket list.

But that's just me.
