Foie gras after mass.

The holidays are worth it just for foie gras.

OMG. That's just disgusting. Nothing is worth Foie Gras, nothing, unless you enjoy suffering.

FYI, there is ethical foie gras available. If you're killing an animal anyway for the holidaya (chicken, goose, cow, pig), the non force fed stuff is not that bad.

Seriously. And after attending Mass. What a total hypocrite idiot with her foie gras.

French Canadian PP here (not foie gras PP).

The idea after Mass is to REALLY celebrate. Heck, it's the birth of Jesus! We call it Reveillon, and anyone with an Acadian heritage might do it, even on a small scale without knowing it's Reveillon. Foods are supposed to be luxurious, decadent and rich.

Foie Gras is just one food that we have an aversion to, but not all foie is unethically produced. I actually have a harder time with veal. Eatinggualr old commercial eggs is also nothing to be proud of.

If you're a vegan, then I understand your disgust. If you eat a single shred of commercial eggs, milk, or meat, then you should do your research before throwing stones.
