- go with a warm grey countertop - Corian Stardust
- go with a darker grey sink basin
- regrout with a darker grout (grout stain?)
- paint walls in grey-ish green (or greyish blue)

This looks terrible. Really bad, please just don't.

Way too many competing undertones.

Looks about standard to me.

OP, can you just post some pictures on imgur so we can help you better? At first I was thinking you were hopelessly screwed, but it sounds like you actually chose a really great tile. We can't help much without seeing it.

But whatever you do, no green. Please.

What I mean is that marks are not permanent. They can be cleaned out. I wouldn't say they were buffed out since that implies more effort than just running a wet sponge over it,which is what I do. Whatever. I'm not trying to convince everyone to buy Corian... just pointing out that there are benefits over marble which I also have in my house.

I have never had my Corian stain in 16 years of use. I have a solid white color and all stains come out with soap and water--or a bleach based scrub. I would change it out but its been incredibly resilient and the white is totally non-offensive and actually nice.

So it does stain. You've just been able to buff it out. New poster here, I had white corian as well. It stains but unlike marble it can be remedied.

Paint the grout a cream color.

^^^^and to add, while my Corian countertop has remained spotless, my white marble countertop on my double sink vanity is not. Various stains and marks over the 12 years of use. Otherwise lovely, though.

I did not say all. I said many. I have known a number of people who have had issues with Corian. My mother, a realtor who has sold homes for 30 years has seen many, many cases of damaged and stained Corian. My mother is also a rental property manager for about 40+ homes and she says she always recommends to owners not to get Corian because of the number of incidents that she's seen over the years. It is true that there are some people who have had Corian without issues, but my mother tells me that Corian has more problems than just about any other counter surface she's encountered. For the money, it seems to be the least durable of the counter surfaces. YMMV, but I'm only giving OP a comment that there are many complaints about Corian as a durable surface.

Great, and I'm just adding my actual, personal experience with the product--which has been positive.

+1 We won't buy a house without double sinks in the master.
