Op: Change it. I wanted to change my DDs name right after she was born ... 18 years later ... would still like to change it. So do it now!

OP, if you really don't like the name, then either give the baby a nickname, or change the baby's name. Either one should solve the problem.

And if you have another child, don't ask DCUM for advice! (Except for me; I give fabulous advice.)

Blame yourself for using an anonymous web forum to help you determine the name of your child. Seriously, do you think that a bunch of strangers are a good place to look for this kind of thing. Why not just pass around a clipboard at the mall?
