SLAC most definitely means Small Liberal Arts College. The small was originally meant to distinguish the schools from larger research universities and emphasize their focus on undergraduate teaching and experience.

Exactly. My sophomore was inundated with mail and emails after his PSAT. This means nothing except that they want your kid to apply so they can reject them in order to lower their acceptance percentage. I thought SLAC was Selective Liberal Arts college.
