I'm pretty late in my pregnancy at this point and finding shirts to completely cover the enormous belly is getting harder. I'm hanging really low these days.

So, if you get a flash of my belly, I apologize. I am not going to go out and buy all new clothes for my last couple weeks, though.

So your kid will have a trashy mommy. Good for you.

The human body isn't trashy. Especially a pregnant human body.

Yes, not going out to buy an entirely new wardrobe for 3 weeks just because a tiny hint of a baby belly MIGHT peek out means I am definitely dressing like a tramp after baby arrives.

If you knew me IRL, you would realize how absolutely ridiculous that is. Seriously. I rarely even put on a bathing suit and wear jeans and comfy big tees and sweat shirts most days. I really cannot help that my stomach while pregnant is absolutely enormous. I'm 5'1" and pretty petite. I've gained 30 lbs and it is ALL in that belly. It takes up half my body. I am not gorging myself or anything. I try really hard to cover it, and I think I do for the most part. But if a panel creeps down and the shirt just can't cover, you might get a small glimpse only because it is hanging down practically into my lap.

I'm not wearing crop tops or posing for sexy maternity photo shoots. I honestly just can't help that tops may not completely cover my huge pregnant belly every single second of these last couple weeks.

Actually, even a turtleneck might.

I'm an H cup. Do you have any idea how ridiculous I look in a shirt that goes to my collar bone? A v-neck makes them look smaller, but containment isn't guaranteed. It's a trade off. It's not an attention thing. I'm self-conscious about them because they're cartoonish.

As PPs stated, because we can.

Believe it or not, OP, NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT YOU. Get a life, and you won't notice how much prettier other women are, so much.

Good luck with that.

Porn has the same effect.

There is a huge difference between complimenting cleavage and trashy cleavage. That being said, I'm careful where I wear V-neck shirts because while it will get me more attention from guys, women will usually find it attention seeking and annoying. Since I'm already married and I like to make new friends, I usually don't show much cleavage.

Same here. And a turtle neck just makes them look that much bigger anyways. I'm also not ashamed or uncomfortable of my big boobs, so you all just have to deal with my cleavage.

So, it's just practical and not, "Ha! Look at you then look at ME!"

Correct. I wear what's comfortable and what looks good on me for me (and sometimes DH). Not so that I can make other women jealous or to make men drool.

If it was only about comfort, most women wouldn't wear bras.

As someone with big boobs, it's much more comfortable to wear a bra than not to.

lol, you beat me to it. That PP must be a man or have normal to small boobs. D cup myself, and even walking fast can hurt.
