There were several families this year that gave notice that they were leaving after finding out lottery results and because of family moves. The school indicated that they were on the hook for payment unless their child's spot was filled. That is why people were posting on neighborhood lists and on here.
I do believe that all the vacated spots were filled, and I'm not surprised. The school is terrific.

Yes, I know that and never suggested it wasn't. I just was giving a description of where my DC will go for K without naming the school since people are often interested in that info, and I didn't want to name the school.
