BM Navajo White or Linen White with bright white glossy trim. Classic, timeless, never goes out of style. Grey is too cold IMHO although some greys are very tasteful they are not my personal choice.
Personally, I think walls should be neutral and colors should be used as accents in fabrics, curtains, maybe you could wall paper a powder room with a fun colorful paper.
Trust me. People that go wild with color always regret it when it comes time to sell. They do not like to hear this advice when given gently of course, but they almost always come around. Example: they'll ignore the color advice and list with every room a different bold color. Two weeks later, they will pull the house off the market, ask for my painter's number and paint the place a neutral color. Ta-da. 9 times out of 10 the place will be under contract within a week.
Of course you should enjoy your home as you are living there but as you said - if you are planning to sell in two years, neutral colors appeal to the masses and you want to appeal to as many people as possible to get top dollar for your home.
Just my 2 cents!
