My parents' hometown is Williamsburg and I will probably want to get married there - I am curious where your venue was? Certainly not the Williamsburg Inn for $15k total.

Anonymous wrote:I got married at Holy Trinity in Georhetown & had my reception at an upscale DC hotel (Willard / 4 seasons / ritz) in 2009 , 175 guest & it was 80k when it was all said and done (that includes sit down dinner, open bar, flowers, band, dress, hair & make up for myself & bridesmaids, photographer, photo booth, limos) my parents paid for all of it, I wanted a much much smaller wedding but it was a fabulous time. The rehearsal dinner was around 5k, my in-laws paid for it, we spent 5k on our honeymoon in addition to our rings (mine were 25k, his was only 1,100)
