baby in a jogging stroller with no support= no, all the recs not to jog with them until they are 8 months or sitting are for baby in the stroller WITHOUT a car seat.
baby in a car seat attached to a jogging stroller= perfectly fine. seriously no different than driving with your baby in the car in the car seat. They are very well supported.
just be sure you fix the front wheel of the stroller as it bounced weird if you dont.
Um, no. The instructions for OP's stroller say this:
• Do not run/jog with children under 6 months of age in the stroller seat or if using a car
seat with the Baby Jogger Car Seat Adaptor. Always check with your child's pediatrician
before running/jogging with your child.
Clearly not the same as driving. Sheesh.
they say this to avoid liability and for the lowest common denominator. I have a friend who is a big runner and has won 5K races pushing her infant in the jogging stroller with the carseat. I've run with my kid in there as well, took stroller strides on maternity leave. It is perfectly fine and really no dif then driving with them.

It was also okay to give medication to a baby, now it's not advisable until the child is 6 years of age.
In my city there are tons of potholes, car rides are not stable nor are they smooth. That's why she's in her infant car seat, with her harness properly adjusted to help keep her as stable as possible.
A jogging stroller barely shows as much danger as going over tons of pot holes at 60-80MPH.
As long as you have your LO wearing a harness to help keep him/her stable, and you're paying attention and not hitting violent gravel roads at your top speed, I'd say it's fine.
Sure babies are tiny cute little new beings, but they aren't made of thin glass. Do you think our ancestors wrapped their young in bubble wrap and avoided any movement at all costs? Eh no.
They are climbing, running, doing all they need to do and I bet you any form of currency that they held their children * GASP* with one hand, while doing any sort of physically demanding activity.
At the rate that this is all going its going to be recommended to not walk with your infant because " HAVE YOU NOT HEARD ABOUT SHAKEN BABY SYNDROME?! How DARE you even speed walk with a infant in your arms!"
OP... Honestly, you do you. If you feel it's safe, and you take precaution, and you ensure your kid is enjoying the ride as much as you are enjoying your little bit of time being out and about then I don't think there's a problem.
Shame on all of you for being so damn drastic.
Scaring all the new moms and making others feel awful.
What works for you/others works for you/others.
Ugh.
