Quality control - formula is highly regulated and safe.
Also - and this could have been a coincidence - but my baby's weight gain and constant spit up got much better when we added in nutramigen. It was the extra calories in part, but I also wonder if the probiotics helped.

Anonymous wrote:OP, if you still need BM please post again and let us know. I have a deep freeze with probably still close to 100 bags of 5oz each. BM is suppose to be good for a year in a deep freezer and I still give it to daycare twice a week for my Dd. she is now 7 months so I would be more than happy to give it to a child more in need.

OP. Can you please email me where we can pick this up? Perhaps a starbucks location near you? Are you one of the 2 moms who sent me an email? THANK YOU.

I would probably chose a g-tube or try harder with formula before I would feed my baby a stranger's milk. Anyway, ask your doctor.

I am leery of buying milk from unknown sources but am desperate. Money is not an issue at all.
PP who asked. We were not able to get into Hopkins. Dr Au Yeung does not take new appts. Ped's office called and they don't see why we need to see her when we have seen other specialists. One of them totally does not believe in reflux.
I make organic solid foods at home. Have taken leave of absence from work (and get some help from a mother's helper) and trying to figure this out. I keep trying. We are also seeing a feeding therapist. Ped sucks. And this is the 2nd one we have tried. But it is my fault, I chose location again since it is so difficult to get out and manage appointments.
My DH is working today so wasn't able to check till now. Off to check my email.
To the PP who said it is neglect. We are educated parents and have done everything we can to turn the situation around.
What does your pediatrician say about the failure to thrive and how to treat it?
