People get older and they wonder what happened to a company ... It's not the company... It's you.

I am going to start a thread, 30 years ago I loved Gallo wine, what happened to that company, their wine is so cheap and gross now.

I think you are wrong on this one. I first shopped at Anthropologie 14 years ago and I still own those clothes. You can't find anything of similar style and quality there anymore today. I agree with OP and others.

I bought some pieces years ago that have held up really well. The most recent shirt I bought lost its shape after ONE washing. And some TShirts from last year came apart at the seams. I posted on the other thread- I'm on a break from Anthro due to quality.

You are so right and not alone. Many people who have been following Anthropologie since the 90's even since since 9, 10 years ago see the glaring difference. They've lost me too. In fact there are blogs about old Anthro to be found. It's sad.

I'm a small busted woman. I tried to buy some long-sleeve shirts at Anthropology yesterday, only to find one that had one (!) button and another with some kind of a tail (?), both for over $60 each. Weird!

No opinion. I don't shop at stores that have philosophies.

Agree but I think it's because they really make clothes for small busted women. When you're small boned and small busted, all those shapeless tops and frills, lace, pleats, and plackets can look look cute. Otherwise they're just frumpy.
