You're only 24 and you have a degree. How long his this man "kept" you like this? Did you quit your job to be available to him? If he's working, what prevents you from working? Who is paying for your health insurance?

I am 24. I'll do this until it's not working for one of us anymore. I don't really feel like my life is on hold. I suppose my career is, but so many of my friends are in grad school or have boomeranged back to their parents that I don't really feel it.

He is in his late 30's. We met when I was 19, in college. He is friends with a professor I had - he was invited to give a talk to our class.
