Subject: Just told my children very bad news . . . will they be ok
You are in my prayers. You are right to be honest with your kids including admitting that somethings are unknown about how the future will go. I am fighting cancer, and one thing I have learned is to allow others to help me in any way they can. Even the smallest gesture can help create an environment of love and caring which will help both you and the kids. I can tell from your post that you are an amazing person and great parent. Your kids will be fine.
