Anyway, cool that your car's 37 years old! Rock on.
We don't have a car. Our ride is bikeshare, Metro, and walking. Sometimes Zipcar.
I've been reading this website for past month & some change but decided to make a name & contribute to this website from a different prospective (black 29 year old view).....thanks for the car comment ...bike riding is cool I would definitely try to ride my bike from baltimore to dc if I could (bike got stolen though)
Perspective, And YOUR black 29 yo view.
Don't assume everyone here is old or white.
I'm neither.

Love it. I learned how to drive in a 78 impala. It was 10 years old when I learned. Loved that car.
Yeah great cars..easy on maintenance ..good on gas (depending on if you swap the v8 small block for something bigger )
NP - in college I had an 85 impala with a 305 4bbl and tow hitch; best car I ever owned. Quick, tons of space, quiet as a tomb, and drove like you were riding on a cloud (really miss the classic American boulevard cruiser). Wish I'd never gotten rid of it![]()
Yeah alotta guys who I've had car-talk with said they regret not having there older model cars ..every -single - time
