Frank promised him a pardon. Walker did too but then rescinded the offer; the only way to save himself was to deliver the presidency to Frank.

The real issue is, how do I keep from getting the plots of House of Cards and Scandal all mixed up?

Ugh! You love him? I feel like the whole Remy wanting a serious relationship with the Congresswoman thing is so fake.

Nice. Thanks for the spoiler.

You are in a thread for people who have finished watching Season Two, and it's clearly marked "(spoiler alert)", so you can just go right on ahead and fuck off, sweetie.

NP here, who thinks you suck and know the difference between spoilers for what happened in the US series we are all watching and spoilers for the entire series. ruin a season that hasn't even happened in the US production, here is not what is warned in the title of this thread. I could go on a thread discussing Game of Thrones the HBO show and even if is said spoilers I won't tell people who dies in the next season because I have read it, that is just being a dick.

Anonymous wrote:Ok, so I'm slow to the party, but I just finished Season 2 last night. My thoughts: I really believe it was a threesome, not a handoff. The porn Frank had watched (that Edward witnessed) was two men and one woman. I think that put the idea into SS man's head that Frank would be into that. Also, the night Frank and Claire were cuddling in bed, looking at old election footage, he asked her something like, "Do you ever miss it...?" and also said, "There's no one we can trust." I took that conversation to be definite foreshadowing that the two of them used to have a mighty kinky sex life, involving others, but had to stop as he became a more public figure. And finally, the morning after when they were in the kitchen, Claire said, "We needed that." BAM!

As for Doug, I found him to be a real downer and I wasn't sad to see him go, but I do wonder who Frank will have to do his bidding behind the scenes now... Seth? I'm hoping Rachel finds Lisa, tells her the whole story, and stays with her so no one will find her. I want her to have a "real" life, finally.

Also, did you notice that in the porn, one of the guys was black? I think that's a sign that Remy perhaps joined in in the early days.

Can we please get back to discussing FU's homosexual tendencies.

Who is he going to get liquored up in the Lincoln Bedroom?

Will Claire sit back, smoke and watch or will she participate?

Does she strap one on?

How will Frank Go down (non spoiler). I vote he and Meecham get shot after Frank does something super progressive and do-gooderish. To make his death ironic.

Or will his rep be destroyed by an ex pro or lover? No. I dont think so.

I would think you were clever but instead i know that you just watched the BBC vs and are trying to ruin the fun for everyone else.

I think the same thing about Claire and haven't seen the BBC version. Frank thinks he is the master manipulator but Claire is going to show him how it is done.

Agree about Zoe's death being most shocking but I think that's because by the time the other developments happen you have suspended all disbelief. All the other things were basically eye-rolls.

I thought the bag-on-head was going to set up some bringing him down later, but it really was just gratuitous wasn't it?

I agree with the bolded. I, too, thought the bag-on-head would set up something for letter, but no. Same with the threesome. It added nothing to the plot or character development, really.

Agree about the bag on head, but I think the threesome/handoff was important. it really confirmed the nature of their marriage that was hinted at when Frank went back to his old school. It is completely a marriage of ambition. And Claire is starting to crack from the loneliness.

Also agree about the bag on the head scene. Really? Was that necessary?

I think Claire is going to end up in a situation to out-maneuver Frank. I think Frank goes down and Claire ends up victorious.

Oh my god, that would be an awesome twist!

not really....this is the problem with the west remakes foreign media

its why zoe's or stamper's death didn't shock anyone who watched the UK original.

To the PP: the above is clearly you trying to spoil what's coming in Season 3. The thread is called "...House of Cards Season 2 (spoiler alert)" not "Season 3 spoiler alert because I'm such an asshole, I want to ruin it for everyone".
