Because every new parent sacrifices sleep, and he's not even having to get up at night! He should be extremely grateful to his SIL for coming to help out and make her as comfortable as possible.

The person who most definitely does NOT get a vote is the guest. I will tell you where you're going to sleep, and you can either come or not, just as you like.
I would rather hire a night nurse than deal with a spoiled princess of a guest who insists on turning the whole house upside down for her own selfish needs. Did you come here to help out or to have a vacation? Sheesh.

We have five bedrooms. One is a playroom/guest room; another is my three year old's room; another is my six year olds room; one is the baby's room (crib but no bed) and one is our master bedroom. My husband has been sleeping in the guest room while I get up to tend to the baby etc so he can get a full nights sleep.
While my sister is here, I suggested he sleep in the master with me and give my sister the guest room. He does not want his sleep disturbed so instead suggested my sister sleep with my three year old (he has a trundle). I instead suggested we double up the kids in the same room and give my sister the six year olds room. He does not want to do this because he think the kids won't sleep as well.
Thoughts? Should I make my sister sleep with the three year old while everyone else in the family has his or her own bedroom?
