That shouldn't be an issue, even if we wanted another. Last year, I was told that I would not be able to conceive anymore due to a medical issue.

Here's what I suggest. Sit down and say that this situation is ridiculous and you feel drained and are at your wits end. Then come up with a plan together and execute. He's not going to offer to start waking up before 11:00 and taking on responsibility. He seems perfectly happy with the schedule the way that it is. You're not, he won't do more than you make him and he can't read your mind.

He's still in a crib. Once he starts not liking the crib, or when he starts making progress with potty training, I'll move him to the toddler bed. Usually, when he wakes up, he just plays for a while, or if he's ready to get up, he just calls for me. It's very rare for him to wake up crying. He's an exceptionally good sleeper.

I'm planning on having a talk with husband tonight, after DS goes to bed. It's strange though, he hasn't called me yet. I'm still debating whether I want to pick up his call when he does. I still just have no desire to hear his voice right now.

OP, can you just ask him calmly whether he wants to na part if this family anymore? It sounds like he doesn't give a crap about you or his son. (Who could leave a child crying and miserable like that ?)

It's weird, reading this. My DH has alcohol and drug problems, but he jumps when our son cries, and he's a great caretaker of both of us. I find myself weirdly thankful for these problems rather than being with someone so cold hearted and selfish as your DH. (mine is a different kind of selfish, I know)

Anyway, since your DH doesn't do any child care, maybe there's a chance he's want little or no physical custody if you divorce? Plus, since he makes more, he'd at least have to pay child support.

If this is real, he is a mooch, even if he makes more than you. Sounds like D time, or you also become a dog walker and make more money. Expand the business. Take your DC with you, drop day care, you'll have more money.
