Why would you dress your kid in an outfit that's nice on a day she has art?
common sense . . .![]()

for art days, wear clothes that can get messy
my kids wear clothes with some paint on them to school - a badge of creativity

Why do they even have art class for Kindergarteners? Such a huge waste of time. They don't make anything 'artistic' anyway. Time better spent doing other neater work - worksheets, reading, computer lab time.

It might it be that your husband is not paying attention to you, or you do not have a husband and your emotional/love life is totally nuled, or you are just a control freak with nothing better to do, I can't tell you exactly what, only you know.
Interesting take on this thread. Probably true, IME. Sometimes people are angry about other things and take them out on random people.

I know, right?! Why do they even let them try to write? It's all jibble jabble. And they are way too loud at recess. Lock them all up in the closet until they are old enough.
Loud and MESSY. So messy. The kids play in the dirt and come home with grass stains on their pants.
WHYYYYY is the teacher letting my kid play in the grass? DS wrecks all his pants that way.
I know - I think they shouldn't let them outside at all!! That's ridiculous that they get dirty. And sometimes my son comes home with jelly on his shirt from his PB&J. JELLY!!! How could the teachers do that?!?!! And I've heard that sometimes the teachers even let them talk in the classroom - those little voices are so squeaky and annoying. WTF is going on in our schools?!?!
What school lets you pack peanut butter?
The PTA did a wash test and didn't find that PB stained so it was allowed. APS.

THAT is unacceptable. The lunch aides should be required to provide bibs and clean up any jelly spills immediately.
My other concern is ketchup. Why does the cafeteria serve ketchup? It stained my kid's brand new Janie and Jack dress. It should be banned.
