If my husband "needs" to find other sex because I don't kneel at the alter of his penis he can go get it.

That extra piece will cost him dearly in the divorce.

In my case - hell if I would want to fuck my emotionally abusive husband who can't ever self reflect or ever say sorry or contantly tell me anyway I was feeling was wrong? My fault - hell no! There's no duty in having to fuck that kind of person even if you are married to the bastard. Props to me for leaving and finally getting sex on my terms.

Chemical castration is a better option. Decrease his testosterone levels and bring his libido down so there is no desire left.

Or, you could just get a divorce.

Such a bullshit argument. I'm not in love with my friends. Sounds like you have some pretty inappropriate friendships.

Are you "in love" with a man who you do not want to be intimate with? Sounds like you have a pretty inappropriate marriage.

Not at all. I am intimate with the man I'm in love with on a regular basis. We just happen to disagree on frequency.

omg. You think people should have sex out of duty even when they don't want to? What is this, Victorian England? Just lay back and think of the empire dear.

Yes, I do. If not, just get the divorce.

Look, not talking about once in a while "not tonight dear, I have a headache." That's fine.

But routine and systemic rebuffs are absolutely cruel and a dereliction of marital duty.

If he seeks a divorce for this reason alone, he didn't love you much to begin with.

On the other hand if she doesn't want to have sex with him, she probably didn't love him much to begin with.

I'm the PP people are screaming "self esteem" at, lol. I do love and respect my husband. We've been together for 13 years. He's my best friend and I'd be lost without him. But I have three very young children who I'm with ALL the time and I'm tired at the end of the day, sue me. It's different when we're on vacation which leads me to suspect that things will improve when the kids get a little older and more independent.

If you love and respect him and he's your best friend and you'd be lost without him - then you would care about his needs/wants, and you would find way to find a little bit of time or energy to put into intimacy in your marriage just like all the other tired parents who love their spouses do. Someone who makes no effort, and puts all their energy and time instead into their kids, and who doesn't give a damn about intimacy or if their husband is rejected or unhappy really isn't someone who loves and respects their spouse.
