I have had that happen to me when I'm very stressed and exhausted. Sleep deprevation can cube a common trigger.

Oh crap, OP, now you've set off my hypochondria. My eye has been twitching off and on since Friday, and my mom died of ALS. UGH.
In my case, I tend to be a little dehydrated so I hope that's it - dry eyes.

If you get other "twitches", difficulty swallowing, clumsiness, then you have a problem.
Are you a neurologist? Bc twitches in general, even everywhere, can be benign, eg benign fasiculation syndrome.
