I like the house, but the decor and flooring/wall covering choices aren't good.

I am embarrassed to admit that I totally want it. The view alone ... damn.

I have no idea who owns the house but I think Tom Clancy and Frank Perdue both have Stevensville properties. They came to mind.

you don't have a mortgage if you own this house. you pay cash.

Owners don't have a massive mortgage because they paid $2.5 million. They probably put in another few million and are now charging $35 million for a tidy $30 million profit.
It's a bit ridiculous.

Maybe the 2.5 million was just the land and then they built the house.

Of course it was just the land - it's 19 acres of waterfront property. Who knows how much they spent building a house with over 15K square feet.

Right? I find that whole house sad and pretty tasteless, actually. Good that they've done well for themselves but they are trying WAY too hard.

You didn't see the photo with their own shooting range?

What I don't get is they have a $34M house and only lifts for jet skis? No real boat? I would expect these people would have a boat for crusing (sail or motor), plus some smaller toys (ski boat, jet skis, sunfish, etc). I bet the lack of room on the dock for a bigger boat will be a problem. Maybe they don't have the proper depth - now that would be an even bigger problem.

It feels weird typing his and his wife's name. They're just a couple selling their home, no matter how big the home might be.

Oh really? You know we are all dying for some tea.

The house was built in 2010. They either bought undeveloped property or tore down the original structure.
