Is your experience with one school? one grade? one teacher? Just curious how widespread this problem is from your perspective. I feel like we can't get a handle on this issue because people only have the limited experience of their own school.

How are you defining "advanced"..the 40% who are labeled gifted? We would need aot of specialists. I assume we all feel our children fall in to the category of needing special attention.
