Why do these bags cost so much money? I have seen a couple comments related to durability. Is that what it is? If so, I guess that you have to make sure that you will get something that you will want to keep using for years and years. I don't know if I would be able to do that.

This. Classic and useful. Drool.
And I have the exact same purse. Got it for $16 at TJMaxx.

If you had $1,000 to spend on a purse, what would you get?
Anonymous wrote:I would NEVER spend $1000 on a purse or even a "work bag." I wouldn't spend $400 on a purse.

You o buy groceries. OP wants to spend HER money on a bag.
You realize that's gross, right? Like, disgusting. I hope someone serrates it with a knife.
Are you married? Did you get an engagement ring (did you return it and buy a bunch of smaller pieces of jewelry)? Was you wedding more than a small private ceremony and cocktail/bbq/potluck reception? Does your car have a sunroof? Do you have an air conditioned home? Do you ever buy something at a regular retail store or do you only shop at goodwill/consignment shops for everything? Do you ever eat out? Do you ever get a mani or pedi? These are things that people choose to spend money on but would seem like an extreme extravagance by others who don't have as much disposable income. You should examine your own expenses and see if others would fund them "gross" or "like, disgusting".

+1 they're very nice : )
What's with all the 'donate the money' talk? Somebody gave HER a gift card for HER to spend on HERSELF.
