Well the way I do it is I wipe first with toilet paper till everything is wiped off, then I use water to rinse my bum. I don't dip my hand in the water,my hand is on my bum as if I was still wiping with toilet paper, but sans toilet paper but with water and To describe the process, suppose you have some dirt on your hand and you wipe it till all the dirt comes off, then you rinse your hand with water, same process![]()
Do you always use your left hand?

I wear nailpolish and religiously thread my eyebrowsAnd I pray 5 times a day and fast and do all the other things "good" Muslims do. Oh I don't wear hijab either, and some would say that's a big fat no no too. But whatevs. What I do or don't do is between me and my Lord. Hopefully He accepts me with all flaws and imperfections. I kind of feel sorry for people who are so black and white with everything.
Live and let live, people.
Salam to youI agree, religion is not black and white and we all have the ability to make decisions for ourselves. What works for you won't work for someone else and vice versa. When it becomes a problem, is when people start forcing their beliefs on you. I used to wear nail polish myself, but don't do it anymore unless Im not praying ( you know what i mean)
. Heard about the water permeable ones and cant wait to try them out as I really love nail polish. You know what, at the end of the day, its a personal relationship between you and your lord and on the day of judgment , its just gonna be between You and Him, not you and all the other people so you don't owe an explanation to anyone about your choices. As long as you are confident in what you do, that's what matters. Ramadan Mubarak

What other things did i say? LOL, you might be confusing me with someone else ( I don't think there is only one Muslim poster on this board) and I do not criticize other faiths, I respect all faiths and respect people's rights to follow whatever faith they see fit or lack thereof. I agree, we all need to work on purity of heart, starting by myself, i am not perfect, i am a very deficient human being, make mistakes most of the time, but when I'm wrong and you correct me, I stand corrected. Again, my intention is not to come out harsh or offend, but sometimes when words are written they might come out a different way to the person reading them than what was intended. I really do not want to offend...

Doing what things make your heart pure? Uhmm yes, to me that is your opinion, and yeh Muslim beliefs can be "muslim's opinion" to you, really doesn't keep me up at nighti am not waltzing around anything, as i have nothing to prove to you. i am firm in what i believe and have zero doubts, so i don't need to waltz around anything, what i believe is enough for me. To you your religion or lack of and to me mine, that is your right!
Well this seems very reasonable, like we could be friends. Then I remember the various things you've said about other faiths over the past few weeks, and the misty good will dissolves. I guess we all need to work on our purity of heart, whether we get there by ablutions, by faith or by good works.

Hum.... ok, i guess you have me all figured out LOL. Well, I very rarely post on the Religion forum, I am actually way more active in other sections of the site. Come to the Religion section once a blue moon but yeh I am probably the obnoxious poster you're referring toHave a good night!
You're not contributing to productive discussion on the Religion forum. Your LOL's, constant emoticons, and regular deflecting don't come off as wanting to participate respectfully with others. You should probably stick to the other more jovial forums and subjects on the site.
