Well I am quite thankful that my birth parents gave me up for adoption!! My family is amazing and I certainly wouldn't be where I am without them!!

Why adoption? If you are in a good relationship with your husband, why not "keep" the baby as your own? You have 3 older children who could become guardians if something happens to you or your husband.

Were you using birth control?

I am in my late 40s, had naturally conceived children at 40 and 43 and my gyn has told me I need to stop using hormonal birth control at 50, as the studies supporting safe use end at that age.
