You must have missed the info that it's a FAMILY thing. It goes back to the 1700s in his history and his whole family is also either currently involved or is training.

This is a terribly mean-spirited thread.

It's heartwarming seeing a young family member make good on the old man's stunt. Like when Robby Knievel made the jump over the fountains at Caesar's that had nearly killed Evel.

Maybe one day a young Kennedy will make the jump at Chappaquiddick.

This isn't anything new. There have always been dare-devils and record breaking attempts that risk one's life. Magicians, swimmers, etc.

I don't know if he's heroic or noble, but I'd say admirable in his dedication. It's not something you or I would try, but it's his trade and craft, and runs deep in his family history. Surely any of us can sympathize with owning up to our family namesakes and traditions - even if fairly odd at times.

Thank you, you get it. It's circus tradition.

Leave it to DCUM to harp on Wallenda's faith.

Hit "mute" if it bothers you. You people are the worst.

Haha. This was my post. Thank you to whoever resurrected this thread. (And thanks to Jesus of course for making tonight possible)
