Totally agree. What a nasty thread to start, with the only point being to make someone feel bad about what they may have named their child. And no, neither of my children's names have been mentioned here.

And when I lived in Chicago I cringed every time I met a little girl names Maddison or Addison. Usually the same family that has a dog named Wrigley. Those are major downtown streets and a stadium! Not names! No one in DC is naming their kid Farragut or Calvert or DuPont. SMH

I think Piper is adorable and am pissed that Sarah Palin ruined it. Wouldn't have used it because I prefer the classics like Mary, Elizabeth, Caroline, but still disappointed to see the loss of such a cute name.
