Great advice. I'd encourage OP to read a few books, watch some movies on the Holocaust, too. Try imagining how you'd feel if some of the victims who were brutally tortured and murdered were, say, you and/or members of your family. At no time in your life will you be likely to feel anything close to the level of horror and trauma that millions of Holocaust victims suffered, but you can probably grasp a miniscule fraction of that horror if you try.

Not to mention that 14 year olds a hundred years ago were running farms, working in factories, supporting families and doing a "man's" work. They were hardly children. Teenagers as part of childhood is a relatively new concept.
