I'm from Ga and I love Savannah. Cheaper cost of living and slower pace of life. I really hope to retire down there.

PP back - I've been told it is hotter than hell there in the middle 6 months of the year, but I just like the feel of the city squares and parks surrounded by historic properties. Most people prefer Charleston between the two, but I am weird that way. I'd rather Savannah was NOT in the South, because I'm a yankee born and bred.

To be fair, my next choice is Boston - again, weather problems, but I loved it there when we visited.

Chicago. Lived there, loved it, would move back in a second.

One pied a terre in Paris, another in southern Spain.

I honestly love living here, but if I was to pick some place else it would be coastal Oregon as well.

I grew up in Boulder, and it was amazing.

If none of the reality based life-stuff was an issue, I'd move to Paris. Or Hawaii. I've never been to Hawaii, but I hear such lovely things.

I was there last year and it made me see for the first time the beauty of LA. Before that, my heart belonged to SF. Now I could go either way. Just give me California!

The Keys.

And I'd never come back to the mainland of the US again. Met a bartender down there once who hadn't been north of Key Largo in 25+ years. That's exactly the way to live.
