Have you heard anything about MCPS switching away from letter grades for middle school? I haven't heard anything.
If you have heard something, please say what and where. If you have not heard anything, why are you wasting your indignation on a hypothetical?
This applies to elementary school now and is a spot on description of why MCPS has moved to a new grading system -- no way for parents to advocate for anything and totally obscures the equity issues which even until today MCPS has been unable to make progress on in any meaningful way.
