Anonymous wrote:My bf just called. He misread his ex-wife's calendar. He thought she said their son had lax camp starting one week, but got it wrong. So he gave me a week at a beach house as a Mother's Day present. Except it turns out it's the same week. He texted her to let her know DSS will miss a week of lax camp. She said No!
WTF are we supposed to do now? Go without him?
Anonymous wrote:We get so little time to be a family with DSS. What is one week of camp?

Anonymous wrote:He's not a loser. Don't be hasty to judge someone you don't know. She's just mad that she had to go back to work and I am a SAHM.
Anonymous wrote:Why be so nasty? We ARE going to get married. It is a fact that we are a family. I don't need a piece of paper to make me a stepmother. Step mom's deserve respect whether or not they are married yet. She needs to learn and accept this.

We have a lot of great elements here. We have:
Girlfriend vs. Ex-wife
SAHM vs. Working Mom
Girlfriend thinks she is a Step Mom
Boyfriend makes mistake somehow it is ex-wife's fault
I personally think to make this story even better she needs to come up with a baby she has had with the boyfriend that she EBF and then she could attack the ex-wife for never breastfeeding her own child.
I think the other obvious clue was "lax camp".
Why? While I will agree that there are very troll-like elements to her faux-story, why does lacrosse camp hint at trolling?

There are many lacrosse camps across the country. This site has 13 listed and the one in NY is for boys 7-14, They are usually one week (4 or 5 days) so it sounds like it could easily be true and be a direct conflict with a planned vacation week. Maybe it's because I went to a college where lacrosse was the biggest sport on campus, but I knew quite a number of guys who played lax and went to lax camps from when they were pretty young. (I've never played myself)

Anonymous wrote:Your boyfriend screwed up. She isn't jealous. She had him first. You now have her leftovers.
Anonymous wrote:Yeah this is all your boyfriends fault and no place should be placed on the ex wife at all.
