Let's explore this. You date this guy. And within weeks, he is basically living with you, borrowing your car, probably accepting money from you, and probably using some of that money to buy weed. And he will probably continue to be jobless because of his record. He might get the son back... who would end up as your dependent also. Seriously... let this one go.

Excellent point in your first sentence. I think the fact that I have been single
so long has been a huge factor in why I am even considering him. It feels so good having a guy tell me I look pretty and that he is attracted to me....Just being in his presence is a huge turn-on. It's been a long long time since I experienced any of this and I never realized just how lonely I really was. I kept checking my cell phone to see if he called me even though I knew this guy had zero potential.
Like I initially stated, he really is a nice guy. He is a perfect gentleman and hasn't tried to take advantage of me even though he could have by now.
But we were in the beginning, that perfect "Honeymoon Period" for God's sake. LOL.
