Do the frozen bulk food taste good after you thaw and cook it? I find their meat lacking flavor, so do their fruits and veggies.

We buy nonperishables and a few snacks, but we strongly prefer fresh, seasonal food at WF or farmer's markets.

-Kirkland signature dog food is very good. Not a lot of filler, etc.
-Contact lenses and glasses are very well priced, too.
-Diapers especially with the coupon.
-Tires when they run the coupon.

We are a family of 4 + an au pair and cook a lot from scratch. We get nuts, natural nut butters, maple syrup, honey, frozen fruit, flour, sugar, and other baking supplies, salt, rice, butter, prociutto, cheese, eggs, quinoa, vitamins and otc medications, diapers, some meats, milk, body wash, wine or beer. We skip most of the produce. If I need apps for a party and don't have time to cook, it's an easy place to pick something up. It definitely adds up when I do shop there, but prices on these things that I can store are definitely worth the stock up trip.

paper products are the way to go for buying in bulk.


Costco is great for shopping for parties.

If you are really a newbie, remember that everything costs $10-14, which seems cheap (and often is) but if you fill up a cart, that will be $300+ Can be a budget buster. Also you need to have room to store it. We end up stuffing the food into our mouths just to keep it from going to waste...not good.
