Also, I want to make clear I'm certain that friends who are making insecure comments to me- are insecure. Simple. Done. I don't like posting books on here, so please just go with that simple statement. We're friends and have discussed this for more than 20 years. Everyone is different, everyone has different tastes and confidence levels. I respect my friends and they respect me. I have a ton of confident friends (some big boob sisters, some small). I totally agree with their perspectives most of the time, etc...

It sounds like the big boobs are causing you to not want to go out, causing problems with your DH and your "friends", and it's difficult to dress appropriately. As women age it's hard for big boobs to look anything but matronly. It really is such an unattractive look unless you are a stripper. I've recently lost weight and a couple of cup sizes and it's 100% better. Clothes actually fit and I don't look bigger than I am. Something to consider.
OP, don't listen to this goofy suggestiin from this big boob hater. People always "suggest" that big chested women get a reduction for their presumptuous off base reasons. PP, you dont cut off a body part because other women lack self-esteem. I hope you dont have any big busted friends. If so, they probably find you pathetic.

Sounds to me that a maxi dress might not be structured enough for someone with your figure.

+1
I'd be angry if my husband tried to pick out my clothes! I'd refuse to wear them just on principle.
OP if you want to minimize your bust, consult a personal shopper or look up some ideas on fashion blogs, there are plenty of sites out there to address this issue.

What if DH showed up like this at your major work function.
If DH suddenly morphed into this guy he could where whatever the hell he wanted, wherever and whenever!
