Don't let these people get you down. Most of them have never had to work three jobs and go to school. Hell, most were born on third base and can't understand what it's like not to have a safety net. Find a different type of guy. One who has a place of his own, a degree, and is not smooth.

Honey, if you take this guy than I promise you will be on D.C. Blogs in the next few months crying your eyes out.
You will be trying to get this loser out of your apt., a loser who beats you and freeloads off of you, etc.
I know it is hard to find a good guy plus it can get pretty lonely w/no social life.
But trust me on this one thing.
It is so much better being alone and lonely than being alone and lonely w/a person who saps your spirit. And ruins your good name.
Keep searching.
He is out there.
And he probably is waiting patiently as are you.

You have at least a DECADE before you need to start worrying about whether you might have a baby. Seriously, if most of your friends are married and/or pregnant by 23, most will be divorced by the time you're 33.
Focus on your schooling and meeting new friends who have more ambition than to marry anything that breathes and has a working penis. You haven't said anything better about him than that.
If you're TRULY desperate 10 years from now, I promise you you could find 100 homeless ex-cons who'll happily impregnate you and let you support them. But if you stay in school and really do become abuse, you'll have the education to have met someone with higher standards, maybe when you're 28. Or 30.
