We stayed at the Brampton inn bed and breakfast on maryland's eastern shore for our babymoon and enjoyed it..

We were also looking at deals for Puerto Rico...we wanted to do something either domestic or a US territory in case there were any complications while we were gone and hopefully our insurance would cover. I guess I should check on this. Anyone have any experience with using BCBS federal on international travel?
No experience with BCBS federal on international travel, but what we did was get extra travelers insurance that covered medical. It only cost $30 and covered both me and my husband. The coverage was pretty good, but we never used it.

Yay, jindc! Your trip sounds awesome, and I'm glad you were able to find something that allows you to splurge and feel comfortable about costs (since those Europe babymoon benefactors haven't yet materialized, at least not for me... ;^) )
We're not having a true babymoon this time, since with a toddler I'm not sure it counts, but we're planning to go to the Outer Banks with our moms for a week in early June, and then Canaan Valley, WV, in Sept. Both are offseason so fairly cheap. Can't wait for vacay!

NYC would be great - but my sister lives there, and I'm already planning to visit her (with or withou DH) before baby arrives so I can go eat my face off at Smorgasburg 
We've decided on Bedford Springs (thanks for the rec, PP!). It's less expensive than Perry Cabin, so we can go for a day longer and I'll feel less uncomfortable about the cost (I'm a very frugal person, so spending that much on a couple of days freaks me out!).
We're planning on July or early August. The spa looks great, so I'm excited to splurge on that. There's also more activities such as cooking classes, guided hikes, and large grounds to explore. Or just sleep. Whichever!

We babymooned in NYC. Took the train up and stayed at the St. Regis (I told DH that this was our last vacay in awhile and we were going to live it up). Totally worth it. Had some great meals and saw a couple of shows. But LOVE the Inn at Perry Cabin idea...

Italy-Florence, Rome, Venice & Tuscany in my 2nd trimester. It felt great to be out walking and being active.
