She's a runner. Good luck with that.

And, please, they don't stop traffic for these every weekend. Most of the shorter races in this area are around Haine's Point or maybe down Pennsylvania Avenue. The longer ones tend to go on the GW Parkway. As far as I know this is the only one that goes up into so many neighborhoods.

I did it this year and thought the course was much better than in the past when it was the National Marathon. Just curious, was this your first time running the race?


Different poster. I ran the National its last year and I thought this past race was way, way worse.
