There's a broad misconception that Reggio is "play based" curriculum. While play is important for EC, a key principle involves children learning in lots of different ways ("hundred languages of children"). A well run Reggio program gives young children the opportunity and space to learn in lots of different contexts, which may include play and art but are not limited to that context.

JO Wilson uses Tools of the Mind. As I understand it, the Reggio programs on the Hill are Miner, Ludlow-Taylor, and SWS.
