Subject: If you're a very sexual person - how do you and SO have couple friends?
OP, it's not "normal" or common to avoid platonic relationships of any kind with men because you don't know how to relate to them in a non-sexual way. This is definitely an issue to bring to therapy.

Maybe I am just too cautious but I set up an encounter online (through a different site) and I had a contingency plan in case I never came back (I was seriously convinced this person had a sex dungeon and if I was "bad" I might not be let out again!!)
Sorry now I have really derailed this thread!!
Nothing wrong with being cautious
