Why would you find and comment on a 3 year old post about a party dress????

No, they only resurrect three-year old threads in September. I think that dress is long gone . . .

I really like the first one. You have to be tall with great legs. I wouldn't consider 5-7 particularly tall, but if you wear high heels and you're not a short-leg body type, I bet you pull it off.

Second dress is a Vanna White special. No.

Nanny again- I'd would look great with your hair down, glam waves! I hate to use a Kardashian reference but that type of hair.

I can't believe you prudes!! Here in Los Angeles (I'm a nanny that why I'm posting on DCUM before I get flamed) that's conservative. I'm in my 30's and I'd hem it shorter and even wear that with stiletto boots. I can't imagine what your Xmas outfits must look like if this is hooker gear. OP sounds like she has a great body, go for it!! These bitter prunes are just jealous.

Too short. Not unless you are 21.

If youve got the body, rock this dress. Wear very sleek and classic hair and classic shoes and very little to no jewelry except for some statement earrings. Like it

OP, I'm 10 years younger, taller, and thinner than you. I wouldn't wear this. Not a good look.

When it doesn't even look good on the model, it's probably a bad bet.

And it's not the legnth of the skirt that turns me off to the first dress at a work party but the sequins.

Thank you, kind sir. OP here. It's not a work function, not sure where people thought that. It would be for holiday parties at friends' houses, etc.

Oh well since it's social wear either one - My preference is for the one you originally posted. Every eye in the room will follow you as you walk by.

You don't even know what I look like but thank you
